Is your student missing their lunch box?  From the current state of the CPMS Lost & Found, they are not alone.  Over 40 lunch boxes are currently sitting unclaimed, as well as two dozen water bottles, various jackets, sweatshirts, and CPMS gym t-shirts.

All of these items will be removed by Friday, 12/1.  Please have your student check in the Wolf Den if they are missing an item. They can check in with Fanya Stein with any questions.

Staff Appreciation Committee Seeks Co-Chair in Time for Cookie Exchange

Cedar Park PTC's Staff Appreciation Committee is currently seeking a co-chair to help coordinate staff appreciation activities at Cedar Park.  With December quickly approaching, leadership is needed to ensure a smooth cookie exchange event.

Historically, the Staff Appreciation committee has organized food-related events, such as monthly lunches, dinner on conference days, cookies for the winter exchange, and activities for staff appreciation week in the spring.

Generally, the work would include creating a donation list to be sent through mVP and organizing the food tables on the day of events.  It's an excellent and fun way to be creative and bring smiles to all our hard-working CPMS staff.

If you are interested in bringing awesome events to CPMS teachers, please contact Angela Redmon for more information.

PTC Purchases Student Planners

This fall, Cedar Park's PTC purchased 700 student planners for every sixth and seventh grader.  Eighth graders have switched to the free online planners offered in their Canvas or google accounts.

Student organizational skills are a strong part of middle school and AVID teaching goals.

This purchase was a part of the 2017-18 budget and was made possible by your generous 5K donation.
