PRINCIPAL REPORT, Dr. Anderson

  • Great support for 5K fundraiser. Thank you to everyone!

    • Teachers are thinking about how to spend their $75 from PTC

    • Trying to see what the needs might be at the school with our extra funds. Wants to check with teachers as well as students! Student voice is something that helped them get the idea for library furniture.

  • Preparing for Pre-ACT for 8th graders. Application window just opened for all 8th graders.

    • An opportunity for students to participate in testing situations to support AP, SAT, etc. When students are sophomores, they can take Pre-ACT/SAT.

  • RC video just made and will go online soon to support recruitment.

    • Currently-enrolled RC students are guaranteed a spot for next year. No need to reapply for 22-23 school year.

  • Interested to get feedback from students around new schedules, no lockers, etc.

  • Lockers?

    • Locker-usage is related to COVID-regulations.

  • Question about hall monitors/parent volunteers - not a way that we have used volunteers at CPMS
